Michele Fornino is an Economist in the IMF’s African Department, where he collaborates on the production of the Regional Economic Outlook and on the Mali desk. Prior to his current assignment, he worked in the Statistics Department of the IMF and participated to AIV consultations in Luxembourg and Kiribati. He holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
